The Honeywell Tuxedo Touch WIFI is a talking, color, graphic touchscreen alarm keypad with integrated WiFi capability. The Tuxedo Touch WIFI is an extremely unique Honeywell alarm keypad because it can actually be used as a standalone home automation system without needing to be connected to a Honeywell security system. Of course, it wouldn’t be a Honeywell alarm keypad if it couldn’t also be used to control your home security system.
As a home automation system, the Tuxedo Touch WIFI’s built-in Z-Wave controller supports up to (232) Z-Wave modules. You can use your Tuxedo Touch WIFI with virtually any Z-Wave enabled thermostat, lock, light or window shade. I love the Tuxedo Touch panel. The Alarmgrid folks gave me all the step-by-step instructions I needed to upgrade my power source and easily replace my existing panel. The wifi integration is straight forward. I like the built in web-server although I use Total Connect for accessing my system when I'm outside my home. I have also installed numerous z-wave light switches and thermostats with no difficulty. However, I will say the home automation functionality is rather limited with the Tuxedo Touch. I'm planning to integrate a different home automation controller such as the Verde3 down the road. Overall, I'm glad I made the upgrade and extremely happy I chose to purchase from Alarmgrid.

This touchscreen allows me to control my security system and do wireless home automation. So far I've added Z-Wave locks for my front door and back door and I replaced my thermostats with Z-Wave thermostats. I have it programmed so that when I turn my system off, it sets my thermostat to 75 and unlocks my doors. When I turn my system on, it locks my doors and sets my thermostat to 80. Now, I'm thinking about getting some Z-Wave lights so I can control that too.

The street smart ce2 is wired directly to the Vista 15p panel. If I remove the tuxedo and put the old 6150 key pad back on, the street smart starts working again. Any other ideas what could be causing this?
with the street smart need to make sure that it wasn't connected to that keypad and take the street smart and connect it straight at the panel.
I currently have a Vista 15P panel with prom chip of 10.24 and 2 key pads. I also have the street smart fob system with LED light currently wired to system. I purchased a Tuxedo to replace out one of my key pads to my system. However, when I disconnected my old key pad and replaced it with my Tuxedo, the fobs and status LED light from the street smart module discontinue working. Any suggestions what is causing this? Is the Tuxedo capable of functioning with a secondary key pad and the street smart fob system on a Vista 15P? Or is it a wiring address problem?
The tux is compatible with your system, as long as you have an available power output on the panel.
Not for sure what my system is for compatibility, but here is information I have. Straight off of ADT board chip is wa3001-7.2. Board is printed with SAVS20P 3. Wold like to see if I can use the Tuxedo?

Thanks Sterling, that's great news! I'm excited for that firmware release. Yes I do have Total Connect 2.0 for the IPCams but I've been using the Tuxedo web interface lately to view my cameras because Total Connect has been giving problems viewing them.
That's unfortunate for now, hopefully that will change.
The VISTA 21ip doesn't have a keypad with that feature.

Honeywell did confirm today that you can't view the NextGen Honeywell IP cameras from the Tuxedo but that may change in the future.
Honeywell has not abandoned development of the Tuxedo as we're actually testing a new beta firmware that will allow Honeywell WIFI Total Connect Comfort thermostats to be controlled from the Tuxedo. Also, the Tuxedo Touch WIFI does support voice control. Check out the guide at https://www.alarmgrid.com/documents/tuxedo-touch-wifi-with-voice-activation-supplement for details and keep in mind, you can't use voice commands to disarm the system or unlock a Z-Wave door lock. Finally, we aren't actually sure if the AlarmNet NextGen cameras work with the Tux or not but I've reached out to Honeywell and will let you know once I hear back. Do you have Total Connect 2.0 service for your IPCAMs now or are you just running them local to the Tuxedo?
I just wanted to say how much I really like my Tuxedo Touch WiFi keypads, and thanks to Alarm Grid I've learned a lot about these systems but I always wanted to be able to control my Zwave lights using voice commands. I had high hopes that Honeywell would release an update of some sort to allow that function but nothing as of yet. Well I did find a little work around to controlling my lights and locking my doors with voice commands using a Smartthings Hub as a secondary controller to my Tuxedo and Amazon Echo devices and I'm pretty pleased with the setup so far. On another note, I purchased the skybell trim and learned it is not compatible with the Tux but also wanted to update my old IP-Cams to the new Honeywell HD cameras but it seems they won't be compatible with the Tuxedo either...I'm lost, did Honeywell abandon any further development for the Tuxedo keypads?
Just to add to Jorge's reply, if you really have your 16 door/windows protected with just 8 zones, you only need one 5800C2W. It's very common, with wired systems, to have more than one wired sensor wired together for one zone. For instance, if you have 5 windows in the Living Room, there's really no need to break out each window to a separate wired zone on the panel when you can wired them all together, in series, and just call it one Living Room Window zone. You should verify how many zones your system is using and then you'll know for sure if you need more than one 5800C2W. I do think a C2W with a Lyric will be a nice upgrade for you and provide you with all the features you are looking for and TC2 certainly works on Android devices. They are soon updating the app to their newer app on Android to allow for push notifications which is the only feature not supported on their current Android TC2 app.
I recommend getting a 5800C2W which is a wired to wireless converter. It will allow you to salvage your existing sensors and convert them into wireless sensors. Each 5800C2W holds 9 zones so you will need 2 of these as well as a dedicated back up battery for each 5800C2W. You can then program the wireless zones into either a Lyric (Honeywell), GC3 (2GIG), or IQ2 (Qolsys). If you want the lower iP monitoring rates then I recommend just sticking with the Lyric since both the GC3 and IQ2 will require you to get Alarm.com services, which like you said require the higher priced plans.
Trust me Frank, that is my objective.. I have 11 months to go and doing my study, learning and due diligence right now...

So your system will be able to support a Tuxedo Touch. You are correct that your system is a VISTA 20p with an ADT branded PROM chip. The system is still able to support touch screen keypads.

I've been researching security systems and am torn on what to get between the Honeywell Tuxedo Touch and the 2GIG (GC3?), so I'm hoping others can give me some advice/suggestions. I've never used the current system, but here's what I have:
Keypads (3) - DSC (an alarm company told me they're 2004 models?)
Alarm Transmitter - Links 2150
What I'm looking for:
- Central monitoring
- Outdoor camera (preferably with full recording capability but would settle for motion-detection recording)
- 1 touch screen with other 2 keypads being a cheaper option (to save on cost).
- zwave functionality (for future upgrade options)
- multi-zone capability (looks like current panel has 8 zones? We have a total of about 16 doors/windows in our house)
- Remote accessibility (view alerts, video, etc.)
Prefer
- Ability to turn chime on/off on individual keypads (someone told me that the Tuxedo Touch offers this, but if I use cheaper Honeywell keypads for the other 2, that I wouldn't be able to turn them on/off individually?).
My concern is that I've heard that the Tuxedo Touch is a really nice keypad, but the Total Connect app for Android is really problematic. Since I use Android it'd be important to have an app that works well. The downside with 2GIG is that I've heard it only uses Alarm.com's services, which are a bit pricier (?) compared to using monitoring services with Honeywell.

Attached is a JPEG photograph of the motherboard that's inside the alarm box. As you can see the eprom chip is version WA3000 version 9.12. This board is the standard Honeywell Vista model 20P as installed by local ADT personnel.

You will be able to use the existing wiring to connect a Tuxedo but first you'll want to confirm what model of system you have. If you look at the main alarm board, you'll find a small black chip near the middle of it with a sticker on it. Feel free to post the information from that sticker here and we'll check to see if your system is compatible with the Tuxedo Touch WIFI.
I currently have an alarm system that was installed by ADT... Can I replace the one of the two existing control panels with one of the tuxedo WiFi control panels without having to reprogram the system... They both have the same 4-wire system. Yes, you would need the installer code to make programming changes to the system. I would suggest you email support@alarmgrid.com with any pre-sales questions so that we can keep the conversation relevant to the Tuxedo on this page.

We aren't sure if removing the white unit would set off an alarm as it's a proprietary unit but I would imagine it would not set off an alarm as from what we know, it's just an interface to their proprietary touchscreen keypad.
You won't be able to use their touchscreen with any other alarm company but we do have compatible non-proprietary touchscreens you could get instead.
The Installer Code is a code that allows you to access the system's programming menus.

You'll need to remove that device (the white box with "To Panel" and "To Keypad" on it) from the panel. I believe Spectrum uses this to takeover Honeywell panels with their own proprietary touchscreen keypad (keypad to that device, that device to panel). With this removed, your panel is basically just a Vista-20P - 9.18 again. After physically removing this device from the panel, I would begin the process of cancelling their service. By removing the proprietary device first, hopefully they won't be able to remotely make any changes in your panel. It would be nice to know the Installer Code, if they set one, but I doubt they will give that to you. Doesn't hurt to ask, though. Finally, I would then connect the IGSMV4G to the panel and begin the process of signing up with new service.

The VISTA-20P revision 9.18 will support the iGSMV4G. I am not sure what the module is atop the panel. If you open it up and send another photo I may be able to tell you. It looks like another communicator that can just be removed from the panel.

It is a Vista 12A.
It's connected using 4 terminals in the back. The Tuxedo can arm/ disarm the panel successfully and even shows all faulted zones when a fault is detected. In the automation screen, I have tried creating scenes where the Trigger is configured as a Zone fault (the zone trigger is available in the scene screen as a trigger and shows all available zones as options in the drop down list). These scenes never get triggered based on a zone fault. I can manually run the scene successfully. I'm not using Total Connect.
Is there some other setting I'm missing in the Tuxedo to enable proper handling of zone faults for automation purposes?

Is your panel a Vista-12, or a Vista-21ip? If it is a Vista-12, that is an international version of one of the plus series panels, and I couldn't be sure any information I give you would be accurate for it.

You will be adding the iGSMV4G to the actual control panel not the keypad. We have an FAQ online at https://www.alarmgrid.com/faq/how-do-i-install-the-honeywell-igsmv4g-on-my-vista-system that details the connections. Are you able to provide the full WA PROM number so we can ensure you don't need a new PROM chip? The Silver plan would provide you with full central station service and the Total Connect 2.0 service (allowing remote system control and text/email alerts from the system) using an internet only path (meaning you won't be able to have the cellular path available on the iGSMV4G). If you want the cellular path to be active as well, so that your service works even if you have an internet outage, you'll need to be on the Gold plan instead. We do have the option to send you an alert when zones are open/closed even if the system is disarmed.
Is there a manual we can follow to connect iGSMV4G to 6160s? We are looking at the Silver Interactive Monitoring plan so that we can get the notifications on our mobile and also control alarming from the mobile. Today, we get a "ding" tone with notification on our phone, when the monitored doors are open/closed, do we still get this feature?
I've never heard of the 6120 so where are you seeing it is a 6120? If you open the front cover (there's two tabs you need to depress on the bottom edge of the keypad), the model number should be printed in black. I imagine you'll find they are 6160s. You can certainly add an iGSMV4G to that type of setup for monitoring. Which plan (https://www.alarmgrid.com/monitoring ) were you looking at?

We have Vista 20p with 6120 keypads. Can we install iGSMV4G and keep the existing pads (6120) and still get the monitoring service using our mobile phones or do we have to replace the keypads as well?
Have you had your company troubleshoot the Tuxedo? They should be able to tell if it's something that can be fixed or a device that needs to be replaced. If you purchased it from them, they should be able to take care of any warranty replacement (should that be available still).
Our system is currently being monitored. But right now there are no total connect services active.

I have a TUXWIFIW that I want to load the newest firmware too, however, after I load the files to the SD Card and reset the Tuxedo I just get a blank blue screen and the message light flashes. I've tried formatting the SD card, redownloading the update files, and still get the same results. Anyone else ever have this issue and have success getting their Tux to update?
The Tuxedo Touch WIFI is only a wired keypad for a VISTA security system (that also does bring in Z-Wave integration to the system). It is not a system by itself so I would suggest you get a VISTA-20P (as you already have the alarm communicator).

1. Yes you can wired zones to trigger rules on the Tuxedo. It is not limited to 5800 series RF sensors.
2. No. The 6280 is not a z-wave controller. It is just a touchscreen keypad.
3. There is a compatibility guide that lists all the compatible cams for the Tuxedo Touch. Please email us at support@alarmgrid.com so we can provide you with the PDF. There are some Honeywell EquipSeries cams that will interface with the Tux. However only the WIFI IPCAMs and the ACU (https://www.alarmgrid.com/browse/security-cameras/brands/honeywell ) are supported for Total Connect remote video services.

I just bought a home with a high end ADT system and a ton of wireless sensors and several motion detectors. I am told ADT uses Honeywell. Can I replace the ADT console with a Tuxedo? Will it connect with all the existing sensors?
This site is a wealth of information. I am currently building a house and will be installing a Vista21IP with at least 1 of the Tuxedo touch keypads. A couple of questions i had.
1. With the tuxedo can I setup scenes/zwave devices to activate on a wired motion detector trigger or panel PGM? I plan on wiring the whole house and noticed the brochure said it had event triggers for the 5800 series and didn't mention hardwired. The scene they explain is a child coming out of the bedroom late at night to a dark hallway and the motion triggers a zwave scene to turn on hallway light. Like that idea.. if that works is there a way for the light to automatically turn off after a set interval of no motion during a certain time period as well?
2. Can I use the 6280 to control the automation devices or will I need Tuxedo at each location?
3. I noticed a select few Hikvision cameras are compatible to view on the Tuxedo display and am familar with them. I heard that the Honeywell performance series will eventually be tied into the Total Connect 2.0 app so I was hoping to go that route. Any idea if the Honeywell NVR cams are viewable on the tuxedo? I've seen the Honeywell wifi cams for TC and am not really impressed... and would prefer a hardwired vandal resistant cams for outside.

You should keep your eye on the Tuxedo Touch Toolkit website then for updates on that update you mention.
Total Connect 2.0 service offers much more functionality/features compared to the direct web server access to the Tuxedo. You also don't have to worry about the security implications of opening up your network for port forwarding as TC2.0 uses an IP and/or cellular communicator that uses encrypted connections directly to AlarmNet's servers.
Honeywell has never had a panel that chimes when the door closes so I wouldn't expect that feature to ever be available with future firmwares.
I heard that they will be releasing a new firmware in the summer. the current software is so glitchy, there shouldn't be a need to pay more for total connect when the keypad has the ability to send out email notifications. also one other item that I dislike would be the chime feature not chiming when the door is closed only when opened.
We haven't heard from Honeywell about any newer Tuxedo firmwares that may be coming out.
We have heard of that issue but haven't been able to confirm what causes it or how to fix it. If you'd like to try out Total Connect 2.0 service instead of using the web server/email notifications, we'd be happy to help.
Honeywell's installation guides don't specifically mention mounting to a single or double gang box but the Tuxedo does have the same six mounting holes as a traditional 6160 keypad which will mount to a single gang box so you should be able to do the same with the Tuxedo.

I am having an issue with the built in email notification where once I arm, I am getting alerts once the motion sensor trips, to speak i can get at least a couple hundred emails a night if someone is still walking around in the house using nightmode/stay mode.
Can this be mounted to a single gang electrical box?
You would need to have Z-Wave lights (switches, receptacles or plug-in modules) and then you would enroll the Z-Wave light to the Tuxedo using the Automation feature of the Tuxedo.
How do I connect the Tuxedo to outdoor lighting?
That is actually a VISTA-20SE and will not support the Tuxedo Touch. You should upgrade to a VISTA-20P or VISTA-21iP if you wanted to use the Tuxedo.
I recently purchased a home and found an alarm in it. It says SAAM 150 and has a "New E2 Programming" Sticker. Assuming it was a Vista 20P i bought a Tuxedo but it is not working. Does anyone know it this really is a vista 20p and if so what do I need to use it with the Tuxedo?

Total Connect 2.0 can be offered standalone for self monitoring customers - so should be able to get emails, without any monthly subscription from AlarmGrid, is that right?
Total Connect 2.0 would be the service offered by Honeywell, through dealers like us, that would allow you to get text and emails directly from the system and you could certainly connect the 7847i or iGSMV4G to your existing system.
I believe TWC uses a proprietary IP communicator but I'm not entirely sure.
Also how is TWC sending to our phones without Total Connect 2.0 or 7847i/iGSMV4G?
So can we not just get the notifications without Total Connect 2.0 service? If not can we connect either 7847i or iGSMV4G to our existing vista 20p?
You can use a Tuxedo with your panel but if you want Total Connect 2.0 service, you'll also need an IP or cellular AlarmNet communicator. The 7847i is the IP only version and the iGSMV4G is the dual path (IP and cellular) version.
Can we replace our existing honeywell keypads with Tuxedo Touch WiFi. We have 2 6120 key pads with vista 20p (with software version 9.18). Our current service is from TWC through their internet but we want to switch to self monitored. Can Tuxedo Touch WiFi send the notifications to our mobile phone using the WiFi?

The Tuxedo is a keypad, not an alarm system. What alarm system is installed now?
What VISTA alarm panel do you have?
You don't need Total Connect to program zones. You just need a keypad that supports zone programming.
As for remote access, you can use the Tuxedo to access the panel remotely and setup alerts going to up to four emails but you would need to setup port forwarding and it requires some IT expertise.
Total Connect is the easier way to get remote access and alerts if your system has an AlarmNet communicator.
Has anyone tried to use the Somfy ZRTSI, rather than the Somfy ZDMI, bind/shade motor interface with the Tuxedo Touch? Honeywell states that the ZDMI interface module (z-wave) is supported, but it's much more expensive @ ~$200/shade, versus ~$300 for up to16 blind/shades for the ZRTSI. Thanks.

Yes, that would cause the error and once you add the proper receiver, it should fix the error and the Check 100 error.
So if I programmed zones 9-14 for RF sensors, but don't have a receiver, would this cause it? If so, once I get the RF receiver, will it fix it?

If you programmed zones setup for an expander and you don't have an expansion module attached (such as programming a zone 9 with no expansion modules available), you would get that error.
I have a Tuxedo with a Vista 20ip that i'm programming, but i'm getting an "expander failure" icon/failure but I am not using an expander... what is up with that??
You would need a wireless receiver to connect wireless Honeywell window sensors to a 20P. The Tuxedo is just a wired keypad with an integrated Z-Wave (different than the wireless RF technology that the sensors use) controller for wireless support of Z-Wave lights, locks and thermostats.
If you want to add a wireless receiver, you can use the 5881ENL, 5881ENM or 5881ENH standalone receivers or you can use a 6150RF or 6160RF wired keypad with integrated receiver.
Can the Tuxedo touch connect to wireless window contacts. If not how do you do wireless on a vista 20 panel
Totally agree on the lights (in my case: pool, fireplaces, lights, etc) versus thermostats. Alternatively, if we could get the Tuxedo guys to have a setting for LED versus Incandescent lights for the dimmers, I could drop Total Connect. I only use Total Connect as the "low" dimmer setting on the Tuxedo web interface is too bright for LED lights....
They haven't given us any idea if or when they might do that but we are hoping they bump up that number. I think allowing more lights would be more beneficial than allowing for up to 20 thermostats but unfortunately, we don't get to make those decisions.
Hi Sterling, 40 is a very low limit, given that the Tuxedo itself can support 232 devices, and I'm beyond that threshold (40) causing Total Connect to exclude some my devices. Any idea when they will increase it?

What is the status of Total Connect managing more than 40 Tuxedo Touch z-wave devices? Also, check the new Denon HEOS audio integration within the latest Tuxedo Touch software update, nice integration for the initial release.
The Tuxedo Touch offers a Secondary Controller function so that you can enroll all your Z-Wave devices into the Tuxedo and then shift them all to another Z-Wave controller (SmartThings for example) so that you'd have the devices enrolled in both controllers.
I have a Honeywell Vista 21IP system installed and I'd like to purchase a Tuxedo Touch WIFI. I already have SmartThings installed at home and I want to continue to be able to use it. How can I use SmartThings and the Tuxedo Touch at the same time to control Z Wave devices at home? I'd like to be able to control the Z wave devices both from the Tuxedo Touch Controller as well as via SmartThings.

Good morning, Sterling! I had a chance to test this last night. I tried to check off Primary RIS device and hung the alarm. Had to manually reboot the tuxedo.
I did find this under Honeywell Tuxedo Touch blog page: The solution is that on Vista 20P panels, Field #91 must be set to 82.
Field *91 is RIS service. I logged into the alarm panel using my installer code went to *91. Started blinking, then I entered in 82 and beeped twice for the acceptance. I tested it again and works great!

What I can get to work, I will use. Okay, so just to clarify, if you are using a 5800 PIR, then you aren't using a Z-Wave motion. All 5800 Series devices are radio frequency (RF) sensors.
With that said, are you monitored currently or just running the system as a local system?

I have a Vista 21ip 3.13 revision with zone doubling. I have a Tuxedo Touch at the latest revision, 10/15. I would like to setup a scene that uses a motion detector, Z-wave, wired, or wireless to turn on my z-wave switched porch lights.
My condition is time, between 10pm to 6:30am, trigger is a motion detector, 5800 PIR or wired has a fault, action is to email me and turn on both z-wave light switches (one on front porch, one on back porch)
When I manual run the scene, it works, but doesn't work when I fault the motion detector. I've also checked off that box that is critical event. I've removed the condition and only kept the trigger and action.

You won't be able to use any Z-Wave security sensors (motions, door contacts, smoke detectors, etc) with the Tuxedo as the Tuxedo is just a keypad for a VISTA alarm system with an integrated Z-Wave controller. You can have a regular wired or wireless (5800 Series Honeywell devices) sensor activate a Z-Wave scene and you can have those scenes set to control Z-Wave control devices (locks, lights, thermostats, etc) that are enrolled into the Tuxedo.but you won't be able to use a Z-Wave motion detector to set off the alarm or activate a scene.

Good evening! I just upgraded to the latest firmware to see what other Z-Wave devices I can add to this Tuxedo controller. I am looking for a z-wave motion sensor that will work. I have two porches in the front and the back. I wanted to place a z-wave motion sensor under each porch and create a scene that would activate my porch lights that are on z-wave light switches after 10pm.
I have 4 schlage z-wave motions and when I enrolled one as a test, it came up as unknown device.
I then figured out that you could use a alarm zone as a trigger now! I created a scene with a condition to start between 10pm to 6am and a trigger as a test 5800 PIR wireless motion to turn on the porch lights, but doesn't work. I also configured the email notifications and SMTP to alert me if this goes off. When I manual run the scene, it works, but wont work no matter what I configure.
Did anyone get this as well?

The linear GD00Z-4 (https://www.alarmgrid.com/products/linear-gd00z-4 ) and the Telguard GDC1 (https://www.alarmgrid.com/products/telguard-gdc1 ) will both work the Honeywell Tuxedo Touch keypad.

Phil, if you click on the link for the latest software, you just have to register an account on the mywebtech site so that you can access the software download. Mywebtech is usually for dealers but they are allowing end users to register for limited access now.
Only dealers can download update software for the tux now??? I use to get updates from tuxedotouchtoolkit.com but it won't download anymore unless you have a dealer account...I'm a end user, how do download the update software?
The Tuxedo Touch is Z-Wave, not RF. The 6160RF has the wireless RF receiver that will allow you to use Honeywell 5800 Series wireless device. It sounds like you need to enable the wireless receiver in the 6160RF programming which you can access by pressing and holding 1 and 3 together, within 50 seconds of powering up the VISTA panel. You should set it to address 00.
Hi, thanks for responding back. Another question. I have a Tuxedo Touch panel and 6160RF keypad. Are these both RF and do I need to disable one of them? I was trying to add the 5800RPS door plunger using the 6160RF keypad (adding a RF zone 9 using *56) but getting a "Check 100 RF Receiver" fault. I could not get the keypad to recognize the plunger at all (tried punching in the the code as well as tried dipping the switch twice to see if it gets picked up - no response). Your help is appreciated!
I'm sorry but it's been quite awhile since we've dealt with any X10 devices. The Tuxedo Touch does work with Z-Wave switches but I'm not sure that you can use the output functions to activate X10 devices from the Tuxedo.
No, unfortunately we don't tech support the remote port forwarding. but if you have someone that's IT savvy, they should be able to set it up for you.

Hi, I am trying to use Vista20P to connect to some x-10 devices so I can control them from my Tuxedo Touch panel. I have two lights set to A1 (using x-10 plug outlets). Therefore, I set house ID to A (*27 and 0), used *79 (output code 01 output type 2 unit no 01) to set the output to 1, and then used *80 to set up the switches to go on when the alarm is armed away. Once I do this I can see output one on my tuxedo touch panel with on/off switches beside them. However, nothing is happening is when I press these. This is primarily what I want to do: control the lights from the tuxedo touch panel) rather than switch them on and off with the alarm. I cannot figure out what I did wrong. Please help and thanks in advance!
Typically the clock resets when you power cycle the system. Is it setting back without a power cycle?
As for the D-Link cameras, I'm not sure if those are compatible with the Tuxedo. Honeywell has a list of compatible cameras at https://blogs.honeywellsecurity.com/2012/11/tuxedo-touch-compatibility/
For remote access, you need to have Total Connect 2.0 service or you need to setup the proper port forwarding needed to access the Tuxedo's web server remotely.
Hello AlarmGrid, I have the Tuxedo touch WiFi to turn on and off lights, operate locks, etc. The problem I have though is that the clock keeps setting back in hours and then days, so I'm not able to perform actions like turning the porch light on and off at a given time. The other thing is the cameras, I have 3 D-link cameras, the panel would find the ip but not the mac address so I'm not able to watch them through the Tuxwifi. Any suggestions or ideas why this is happening?

Also, I'm able to control the features on my phone or ipad at home, on a wireless environment, but once I get out I can't get any access through my phone's 4G network, this would make a huge difference to me, since because of my job I travel a lot and would love to be able to control the Tuxedo actions from abroad (tuxwifi on a Vista 21ip). I can get access to the cameras from anywhere with the Dlink App, but the Honeywell shortcut on my phone (the one with the ip address) is useless when I travel.

No, unfortunately, the only thermostats that can be integrated with Total Connect 2.0 are Z-Wave thermostats. You can use a Honeywell WIFI thermostat if you run the separate Total Connect Comfort app (which requires no monthly fees) or you can use other Z-Wave devices to build out your Z-Wave wireless network as each Z-wave device should act as a repeater to boost the Z-Wave signals out throughout the home.
Are there any Honeywell thermostats that the Tuxedo Touch can control that are not Z-Wave enabled? The thermostat I want to replace is pretty far away from my other Z-Wave devices, but I do have a CAT5e cable there. My goal is to use Total Connect 2.0 to monitor and manage the thermostat as well, just not do so via Z-Wave. And love your site, by the way.
