This document details the new features and enhancements for the release of panel
Firmware Version 1.

for the 2GIG
EDGE security panel.


New Features &
Enhancements

Support for the new 2GIG
E+
Long Range
Sensor
s has been added. This update will support up to 64
E+ devices
and support

programming these sensors

along with eSeries and unencrypted 345mhz sensors to the
panels

wireless zones
.

The

sensor enrollment flow

has been updated to
simplify the enrollment process for all supported sensors.

Using the “learn” enrollment process will automatically identify
eSeries vs unencrypted sensors.

Equipment codes have been removed from programming and sensors are now identified with a more
friendly
naming selection
.

Normally open/close option added in sensor programming for
