Warning
Digital Security Controls Ltd. recommends that the entire system be completely tested on a regular basis. However,
despite frequent testing, and due to but not limited to, criminal tampering or electrical disruption, it is possible for this
product to fail to perform as expected.
The AMP-702 contact uses a 2-wire connection for power and to communicate
with the control panel. This simplifies wiring and reduces installation cost. The
AMP-702’s low current draw also maximizes the number of devices that can be
attached to an addressable loop.
The AMP-702 has a single EOL5.6KW supervised loop that monitors normally open
contacts only. An open on the loop initiates a trouble and a short initiates an alarm.
The AMP-702 contains an internal tamper switch to monitor tamper conditions.

octagon box or equivalent Listed enclosure. Remove the plastic cover and attach to the
inside of box with screws, or the equivalent (double sided tape is not permitted). The
open contact to be monitored should be wired as shown in the connection diagram. The
plastic cover is to be reattached to permit the tamper switch to electrically supervise
the plastic cover. All wiring to and from the cUL Listed or CSA certified enclosure is to
meet NFPA 72, ULC ORD C693 and Canadian Electrical Code Section 32 when used
in connection to Central Station Fire Installations. When mounted in a non-fire application
the AMP-702 may be mounted directly to the surface desired without need of additional
