Honeywell VISTA

Savant systems?
Savant has developed a profile, or driver, for their Apple
®
-based home and
commercial automation platform to interface with VISTA via the 4232CBM.
These products and profiles are rigorously tested in Savant labs for
interoperability, and allow for audio, video, telephony, digital display, energy
management and media controls to react based on different security system
states (Arm/Away, Arm/Stay, Disarm, Intrusion and Fire/Emergency).
Why did Savant decide to
develop a solution to work with
Honeywell VISTA?
Honeywell security dealers and Savant integrators have been requesting
an officially supported method for connecting VISTA control panels with a
Savant solution.
How does the VISTA connection
with Savant Systems benefit
Honeywell security dealers and
qualified Savant integrators?
VISTA control panels that interface with Savant Systems present Honeywell
security dealers and Savant integrators operating in the same region with an
opportunity to align their installations and provide enhanced security services,
innovative automation and multi-zone audio/video products to their customers.
Dealers already installing both product lines will now be able to benefit from
the wide range of Honeywell security panels and peripherals in their home
automation installations.
What are the benefits for the

dealer and Savant integrator?
A single, low-cost module (4232CBM Connected Building Module) and Savant’s
4232CBM Profile will provide keypad emulation and basic system status for
most residential and commercial Honeywell VISTA panels (VISTA-15P, 20P,
21iP, 128BPT, 128FBPT, 250BPT, 250FBPT, 32FBPT and equivalent models
sold by First Alert Professional dealers*). This provides configuration with
systems previously not supported through direct control allowing integrators to
incorporate security to installations through Honeywell’s VISTA control panels.

Can I buy this equipment

at ADI?
All Honeywell equipment, including the 4232CBM interface module, is
available through ADI. Savant equipment is only available through authorized
Savant integrators.

Savant Systems?
Honeywell is not selling Savant products and Savant is not selling Honeywell
products. Our relationship is enabling the business opportunity for Honeywell
security dealers and Savant integrators through the module/driver interface.
