Honeywell L5100 Quick Installation Guide (Rev 6)

The kit includes the AD12612 1.2A power supply so you can add as many sirens to the kit as you'd like as long as you don't exceed the 1.2A power limit. The 702 draws 1.2A on its own so you wouldn't be able to use them both but instead of buying the kit, you could buy all of the items individually and replace the AD12612 with the SMP3 (https://www.alarmgrid.com/products/altronix-smp3 ) which is a 2.5A power supply and would support both of those sirens.
when I buy the LYNX-WEXT and the siren strobe (WBOX OE-OUTDSIRS) then later on. " IF " I want to add another alarm like the 702. will the kit LYNX-WEXT run both sirens. if not what can I take off and add to the kit so I wouldn't need to get anything else. ( one siren should be good I was just wondering)
Happy to help.
ok, yes I can get the wire back to the panel. thanks
The EGND terminal on the left is for an Earth Ground connection for grounding the panel. The HWZ1 and GND are for connecting a wired zone to the panel. You can connect one wired door/window sensor there or you can connect multiple wired door/window sensors in series as one big zone. The TRIG is a sensitive trigger output and the GND and and +9VDC are for the DC transformer to power the system from a regular wall outlet. You can not connect a siren directly to the panel so you will need the LYNX-EXT kit (https://www.alarmgrid.com/products/alarmgrid-lynx-ext ) if you want to integrate the WBOX siren/strobe. With the LYNX-EXT, the panel is triggering the wireless 5800RL relay module so that the LYNX-EXT setup can be remote from the panel. Another option is the LYNX-WEXT (https://www.alarmgrid.com/products/alarmgrid-lynx-wext ) kit which is the same components except for the 5800RL is replaced with the RBSNTTL (https://www.alarmgrid.com/products/altronix-rbsnttl ) which is a ultra sensitive wired relay module. As the trigger output is unique and only supports 3mA, this is the suggested relay to use if you can get your wiring from your siren location back to the panel.
I am wondering what are the 6 terminals inside the Lynx touch L5100 used for? their are 6 of them but two of them are used for powering the panel. the other 4 are egnd,hwz1,gnd, and trig. when I looked at the quick install guide I am guessing these 4 terminals are for door and window sensors? if they are, you're supposed to hook all sensors up to just those terminals. If someone could please explain it to me I would appreciate it. the one terminal say's trigger! is there a way I could hook up a siren/strobe to these terminals? I want to put a siren/strobe( WBOX OE-OUTDSiRS) to my system but I am hesitant on doing so because if I cant hook it up straight to the panel then I would have to get the 1361 transformer, the AD12612 power supply, the ultraTech battery, and the 5800rl RELAY MODULE

1. Release the front case from the rear case by depressing the two locking tabs at the top of the unit with the blade of a medium size screwdriver. 2. Separate the front and back case assemblies by rotating the front case so that it is perpendicular to the rear case and unsnapping (releasing) the two hooks (hinges) from the back case. 3. Feed the wiring through the appropriate openings in the back case. Use tie wraps to secure the wiring to the built-in wire loops as needed. 4. Mount the back case to a sturdy wall and secure with the provided screws. 5. If required, install an additional mounting screw in the case tamper (see Detail A). 6. Attach the front and back cases by connecting the hooks on the front case to the attachments on back case. Once attached, the hooks will support the front case and allow you to make the wiring connections. 7. After all of the wiring connections have been made, snap the front case and back case closed and ensure that the locking tabs secure the case.

1. Make earth ground connections to EGND terminal. 2. Connect the incoming phone line to either the 8-position jack or the TIP and RING terminals. 3. Connect the handset phone lines to the H/S T (TIP) and H/S R (RING) terminals.
