Dear Valued Customer,
In support of on-going efforts to update the securi
ty profile of our connected products, Resideo
is deploying updated firmware to the cameras listed
below. These products must be updated to
maintain operation, and connectivity to the Total C
onnect App after October 31, 2024. All
devices currently connected to Total Connect and on
-line have been updated, and no actions
are required.
Actions may be required if you wish to use cameras
in the following states:
1)

New cameras not previously installed
for at least two days between June 30, 2024, and
today, will need to be registered and updated to th
e latest firmware noted below. The
firmware will be updated automatically once registe
red as long as they remain online
for at least two days. To register a camera, simply
add it to the TC2 account as you
would any other camera.
2)

Previously used cameras have been deleted from a TC
2 account
, and were not actively
on-line and connected to TC2 for at least two days
between June 30, 2024, and today,
will need to be registered and updated to the lates
t firmware noted below. The
firmware will be updated automatically once registe
red, as long as they remain online
for at least two days.
3)

Devices that have previously been registered
, but have not been on-line since June 30,
2024, will need to be powered and connected to the
internet, with a verified on-line
status in TC2 so that the new firmware can be autom
atically installed.
The above steps must be completed prior to October
30, 2024. If you have doubts about the
state of a particular device, please check the firm
ware version using TC2
(Cameras...Settings...Camera Information...Firmware Versi
on). If a device has the firmware
version shown in the table, it is updated.
Devices not updated to the versions listed below be
fore October 30, 2024, will no longer be
recognized by the Total Connect app as of November
1, 2024. As a result, these devices will not
receive any updates and/or support from Resideo.
