Dear Valued Resideo Customer:

As an Additional Aid to our customers, Resideo is s
implifying the decoding format for Resideo Security
products.
Traditionally Resideo Security Products were date c
oded using letter to indicate a year and a 3-digit
number
indicting day of year.
To simplify the process of identifying the date cod
e of Resideo Security products we will be migrating
to a
YYWW

date code format where YY is the year and WW is the
week in the year. New date coding will affect bot
h box and
product labeling.
Example:
Currently, date code, June 8, 2022 is indicated
F159
, where the 159 represent the day of year and the F

letter indicate year 2022. With the new format the
same date of June 8, 2022, will be represented with
date code
2223, indicating the product was produced the 23 we
ek of the year of 2022. We believe this change w
ill simplify
your understanding of our date coding making it eas
ier to read.
Resideo will start rolling out this revised date co
ding change beginning in
June 2022.
