ADI PRO 0E-TRKMTOD

The ADI PRO 0E-TRKMTOD is a track-mounted overhead garage door sensor. It is a normally-open contact with 36" of armored wiring. It is ideal for securing garage doors and mounts on the track for easy installation. The 0E-TRKMTOD features a 2.56" closed gap spacing.

This track-mounted overhead door sensor allows you to install it to the metal track of your garage or overhead door. No need to drill into concrete for installation. If you prefer the floor-mounted versions, ADI PRO also makes the 0E-SRFMTOD2W and the 0E-SRFMTOD3W. They also make the 0E-SRFMTMG2W and the 0E-SRFMTMG3W, which mounts to the wall or the doorframe.

The ADI PRO 0E-TRKMTOD has a forgiving departure gap of 2.75 inches. This is the max distance at which the sensor will alert you that the door has opened. The close gap is also generous at 2.56 inches. This is the max distance at which the sensor sends a closed door signal.

The 0E-TRKMTOD is constructed with durable materials to protect it from damage, tampering, and weather. It has a ingress protection rating of IP66. This means it has the highest level of protection from dust. It also means it can withstand powerful water jets from any direction.

At the end of the 0E-TRKMTOD's armored cable is a 2-wire lead. This is a normally-open connection. That means that if you are wiring to a zone and using an End-of-Line Resistor (EOLR), it needs to wire in parallel. Using an end-of-line resistor is strongly suggested. If you did not use an EOLR, cutting or damage to the wiring could occur and the alarm panel would never know. The armored covering protects the wire from damage.

If you have an All-In-One alarm system, you still can use this sensor with some additional equipment. You can add a wired to wireless security system converter that is compatible with your system. Be sure to make sure the converter works with normally-open contacts.
