500′ Box of Unshielded Wire
Description
This is the ADI PRO, 18-gauge, 4-conductor wire (18/4). It's unshielded, stranded wire. It comes in a tangle and twist-free box with 500' (152.4m) of cabling. The ADI PRO 18/4 wire allows for installation behind walls because it carries a CL2 (Class 2) residential fire safety rating. It the jacket is available in 2 colors, white (RT-8004501) and gray (RT-8004509).
The ADI PRO alarm wire is UL certified and oxygen-free copper, which is suitable for running inside of walls. The PVC jacket encases four insulated, stranded wire and a rip cord. The wire is unshielded but consists multiple solid bare copper wires to create the stranded conductor.
This 500 feet of cable comes in an express box. The express box was designed for a tangle and twist-free experience. If you've ever had wire get tangled and twisted before, you can definitely appreciate that. The wire also has length markings along the entire 500' span. This allows for precise wire cutting and no more guessing needed.
