How does the Video Doorbell Mounting Wall Plate work?
Video Doorbell Mounting Wall Plate
(ADC-VDBA-WP)
that is installed between the ADC-VDB770 and the wall. Mounting
wall screws and anchors (the same type as what is included with the ADC-VDB770) are also included with each unit.
The mounting wall plate is designed to cover up existing holes or missing paint due to a previous doorbell that would not
be covered by the footprint of the ADC-VDB770 itself. The mounting plate
is wide enough to cover the width of a Skybell
HD Wi-Fi Doorbell Camera so that any missing paint or screw holes will be covered.

Installation
•
Place the mounting plate against the mounting surface, and then do either of the following:

Thread the mounting screws through the mounting bracket and outer (highest and lowest) holes on the wall
plate.
◦
Thread
the mounting screws through the back plate and inner holes on the wall plate.
