The VISTAHKVR-B takeover module allows for certain legacy VISTA
(ECP) enhanced control protocol devices to be compatible with the
VISTAH3 control panel which saves dealers material and installation
costs when taking over an existing VISTA installation. With millions of
legacy VISTA installations currently active this is a huge opportunity to
take over or increase value to those systems
For 5800 wireless applications the VISTATKVR-B module allows you to
use or re-use the existing 5881 line of 5800 RF receivers, for hardwired
zone installations you can use or re-use the 4219 hardwired zone
expanders and for hardwired relay applications you can use or re-use
the 4204 relay module and/or the 4229 combined hardwired zone
expander plus relay module. Please reference the chart below for all
compatible devices.
The module has a built-in tamper allowing detection and reporting
if the front cover is removed and is supervised so if the wiring is cut
a supervision alarm will result indicating the module may not be
operational. The flexibility to mount the module on a surface wall or to
a gang box depending on the installation environment and the terminal
strips are removeable to give installers easier access to help making
wiring easier.
