4)
Walk test the sensor making sure the GREEN led li
ghts
when walking across the desired coverage area. Fin
e
adjustment may be required. The fine adjustment wi
ll only
allow for small changes (lens moves 3 degrees to th
e right or
left). The locking screw must be loosened before c
hanges
and tightened after changes. Additional walk testi
ng is
required after every coarse or fine adjustment.
Adjusting the Microwave
1)
Find the switch labeled “S4” along the front of t
he unit and set its range to the match the PIR
setting.
2)
Locate the microwave potentiometer on the right s
ide of the unit and
turn it counterclockwise to decrease the microwave
range to minimum.
Walk test the unit and gradually turn the potentiom
eter clockwise to
increase microwave sensitivity until the desired ra
nge is obtained. You
should see the yellow LED light when you are detect
ed by the microwave.
The red LED should come on when both the PIR and mi
crowave trip.
Allow 3-4 minutes for the unit to stabilize before
walk testing.
