The 4193SN is a serialized two-zone expander used t
o connect alarm sensing devices to
controls that support serial number polling loop de
vices (e.g.,
Vista-50P, Vista-128BP and Vista-250FBP).

The ADEMCO 4193SN can be configured as one supervis
ed zone (10K EOLR) and one
unsupervised zone (normally closed devices only).
Consult the control panel installation instructions
for programming information.

For Fire Applications:
The 4193SN must be mounted inside the control panel
or inside a UL-Listed junction box. Loop
1 (supervised) may be used in the supervised config
uration for Fire. Use Honeywell End-Of-Line
resistor model number EOL100, 10K ohms, on Loop 1.
Loop 1 of this module can be used with
four wire smoke detectors, heat detectors and pull
stations. Polling loop is Class B, Style 3.

For UL Burglary Applications:

Loop 1 must be used
in the supervised configuration for commercial Bur
glar Alarm systems.
For Household applications, Loop 1 is used in the u
nsupervised configuration or Loop 2 may
be used, according to the following condition: if u
sing an unsupervised zone of the ADEMCO
4193SN, the unit
must be mounted within 3 ft of the alarm initiating
device
, with no
intervening barriers.
Notes:

1. All circuits are power-limited.
2. For dry indoor use only.
3. Do not install in air-handling spaces.
