IP Video Streaming – QuickTime Setup
Follow the steps in this document to configure Quic
kTime if you are unable to
view streaming video on the Total Connect webpage.

Step 1: Open up the QuickTime Player:
Go to your Start Menu >Programs > QuickTime folder
> QuickTime Player

Open QuickTime Preferences:
Click on Edit > Preferences > QuickTime Preferences

Click the Advanced Tab:
You will then be on the streaming setup page

Step 4:
Change “Transport Setup” from Automatic to Custom:

The Streaming Transport box will appear:
“Set Transport” Protocol to HTTP and set “Port ID”
to Port 80 > Click Ok
