Tuxedo Touch Software Update Revision Notes for 5.3.21.0

You are welcome, Glad we could help!
Thanks so much, Julia & Darrell! For others reading this, similar to what's written above, I can also confirm the upgrade to 5.3.21.0 on the 6280-WiFi does not remove the slideshow feature. Thanks again!
Hello PE, Yes, This includes the Tuxwifi, It is also included in the new Tuxedow released and available on our site https://www.alarmgrid.com/products/resideo-tuxedo.
Thanks Julia, it's possible you might have answered this question above, (but just to be on the safe side, because I just learned there's a newer Tuxedo with more modern screen graphics), Does your answer also apply to the older 6280-WiFi (TUXWIFIW) ?
Yes, all versions of the TUXWIFI support the Slide Show feature. It was the Lynx Touch panels where this feature was removed, I believe.
Hi - Confirming that this release (5.3.21.0) for the Tuxedo Touch WiFi still contains the Photo Slideshow? (I may be wrong, but I thought I had read this feature was removed a while back...wanted to be sure this feature is either working again or still working?) Thx so much
We aren't sure why Honeywell stopped posting the Tuxedo firmware updates on http://www.tuxedotouchtoolkit.com/. They made a vague mention of "cyber security reasons" and it is available for alarm dealers on the internal Honeywell website still. Also, to make it easier for people to update their Tux, we now host the updates at https://www.alarmgrid.com/downloads/tuxedo-touch-firmware-updates.
Why is this update not on Honeywell's web site?
Hi Joe, Glad to hear it helped!
Thank you very much, these are exactly the steps that worked, and which I managed to figure out a little bit before seeing your reply. Thanks!
Well, I fixed it by starting the Tuxedo Touch without the green & yellow (data) wires connected, so it didn't argue with the panel, started up, and let me change the ECP. I thought I had tried this before, but I realized I had stupidly disconnected the red & black wires instead.
Hi Joe, I'd suggest tossing the tux back to ECP 2. If you're unable to do so currently, drop the data wires from the tux to the panel and you wont be having the rebooting issue you mentioned. When you drop the data wires you may need to use the 4140 installer code opposed to the panel installer code. Once this is done and ECP is put back to 2, then you can reconnect the data wires and the tux should function once again.
Hello, My recently acquired Tuxedo Touch initially used ECP 2, and seemed to work. I then upgraded to this firmware according to the instructions and then tried setting the ECP address to 16, which is what my older keypad displayed when I held down buttons 1 & 3. After doing this, the Tuxedo Touch displayed that it had a "Panel Communication Error" and began sounding its alarm. Now, whenever I power up my VISTA-20p with the Tuxedo Touch attached, the Tuxedo Touch displays the "Panel Communication Error" again, sounds the alarm, and then a few seconds later it restarts. I don't get the chance to change the ECP at all. I have been able to downgrade the firmware to 5.2.9.0, but was still not allowed to change the ECP and the Tuxedo Touch is still exhibiting the same behavior. Help!
