2GIG ANT2X

The 2GIG ANT2X is a 10 foot cellular antenna compatible with all of the 2GIG Go!Control panel's cellular communicators with the exception of the LTE*. This includes the GC2 and GC3 alarm systems. Ideally the device should be mounted in an attic space. The higher the positioning on the premise the better the opportunity for increased cellular reception. There is a specialized, locking connector designed for a solid connection to any 2GIG compatible cellular communicator.

Like any cellular antenna, there is signal loss associated with signals traveling down cabling. Antennas are intended to offer a better point of reception. They are not designed to amplify the cellular signal. If the cellular coverage is poor everywhere we recommend looking into cellular amplifiers such as a 3G signal booster. Microcells from cell phone companies do not work since they require a phone number for enrollment.

*NOTE: This antenna is not compatible with LTE radios. The 2GIG-ANT5XL-GC2 is the compatible antenna for GC2 panels using an LTE radio. The 2GIG-ANT5XL-GC3 is the compatible antenna for GC3 panels using an LTE radio.
