This GC3 kit is recommended for use inside larger homes and medium-sized businesses. With 10 door and window contacts, a user can effectively monitor a larger building with ease. The motion sensor should be placed in a central location where it can detect any interior motion that may occur. The system provides support for up to 100 wireless zones, so users should have no trouble achieving a complete setup with the GC3. Up to 100 user codes can be added to the panel, and users can be named for tracking code usage.

The included Verizon CDMA communicator will allow the system to connect with the Alarm.com interactive service. Alarm.com can be accessed remotely so that a user can arm and disarm their system, check the current status of sensors, operate Z-Wave smart home devices and more. Speaking of Z-Wave, the 2GIG GC3 comes included with a built-in Z-Wave Plus controller for operating various smart home devices, including lights, door locks and thermostats. A user can access the Alarm.com service from a web browser or by using the Alarm.com Mobile App on an Android or iOS device.
