2GIG Z-BRDG-433

The 2GIG Z-BRDG-433 is a Z-Wave Energy Management Bridge designed to offer diagnostics on energy usage in your home or business. The bridge is sold in a kit and includes 3 parts: Energy Bridge, Transmitter and CT clamps. The bridge and transmitter both require connection to a 120VAC power outlet. The CT clamps should be installed by an electrician. Instructions are included in the CT clamps box. After they installed they are designed to monitor electrical current as it passes through the center of the clamp. The CT clamps connect directly to the transmitter module.

The transmitter is a small black tower with an antenna on the top side. The energy consumption data is sent wirelessly from the transmitter to the energy bridge. At the energy bridge the data is compiled and forwarded to the 2GIG Go!Control alarm panel where it can be viewed on the touchscreen display. The Energy bridge is a white rectangular box with a single 2-prong outlet on it for dimming a lamp. The lamp dimmer is a bonus to the extensive features of the Z-BRDG.

There is a pairing process that must take place between the transmitter and the bridge. Press and hold the small recessed hole on the front of the transmitter for 12 seconds. This puts it into learning mode and triggers a red LED to flash repeatedly. While plugging in the bridge, press and hold the button on the face of the unit. This will trigger a rapid flash of the green LED on the energy bridge. Then both the red LED on the transmitter and the green LED on the bridge will flash in unison every 10 seconds for about 60 seconds. After about 3 minutes the green LED will stop flashing and the units will be paired.
