Digital Chime Power Module for ADC-VDB750
Description
The Alarm.com ADC-VDBA-PM-750 is a power module used when wiring the ADC-VDB750 to a digital chime. The ADC-VDBA-PM-750 has two (2) wires and connects one wire to each of the doorbell terminals. There is no polarity. The existing doorbell wiring must still stay connected to the same terminals. If you determine that you have a digital chime, then the ADC-VDBA-PM-750 is required for your setup.
The Alarm.com ADC-VDB750 is a full HD quality wired video doorbell camera with HDR (high dynamic range). It features two-way audio, video analytics, improved temperature range, a 2MP picture, and a 165° horizontal and 145° vertical field-of-view. It can be managed and accessed from Alarm.com. This includes the customer website and the Alarm.com App, which is available for Android and iOS devices.
The power module regulates the power going to the digital speaker throughout the duration of a chime. It is required for all ADC-VDB750 digital chime installations. Alarm.com has another doorbell, the ADC-VDB770. The ADC-VDB770 includes a power module with the doorbell. The ADC-VDB750 requires the power module to be purchased separately. These two (2) power modules are different and not interchangeable. So, if you are changing from the ADC-VDB770 to the ADC-VDB750, do not use the existing chime.
After wiring the doorbell to the transformer and the chime, attach the white wires of the power module to the same terminals as the transformer and doorbell. The ADC-VDBA-PM-750 ensures that digital chimes can ring properly and not cause any damage while the doorbell button is being pressed.
