Alarm.com ADC-VPE-9FT-W

The Alarm.com ADC-VPE-9FT-W is a 9-foot long extension cable for Alarm.com Security Cameras that use a 2.1 mm x 5.5 mm DC jack for power. Please note that Alarm.com does not recommend using DC extension cables to extend the total power wire run more than 100 feet in length.

In many cases, the cable provided with an Alarm.com video camera is not long enough to reach from the camera's mounting location to the nearest outlet. This is particularly true for outdoor cameras. The provided DC power adapters for these cameras consist of a plug-in adapter with a fixed-length cable. The cable terminates in a 2.1 mm x 5.5 mm jack.

Each ADC-VPE-9FT-W extension cable has a 2.1 mm x 5.5 mm female connection at one end and a 2.1 mm x 5.5 mm male connection at the other end. To extend the power cable, plug the male end of the DC power adapter that comes with the camera into the female end of the ADC-VPE-9FT-W. Plug the opposite male end into the camera, or into another ADC-VPE-9FT-W, depending on how far you need to extend the power cable. The power wiring for each Alarm.com video camera can be extended up to a total of 100' (33.33 m).
