The American Fibertek - MX480 is a multimode bi-directional multi-protocol data transceiver. This transceiver is designed to transmit and receive information via RS232, RS485, RS422, and Manchester data protocols. It supports one simultaneous channel of data over multimode optical fibers.
The hub offers two-way communication via fiber optic cable and the use of wiring landed on the labeled terminal blocks. The Fibertek PS-12 transformer is included with the module. The PS-12 is a 12VDC, 500mA power supply. The power connections should be made on the positive and ground terminals on the side of the MX480.
