Description
The Danalock Danapad V3 is a push-button keypad designed for use with the Danalock Door Lock. With the Danapad Keypad, a user can control their Danalock Door Lock without having to use their smartphone. The user will simply enter in a valid code that has been programmed with the Danapad.
The codes that are used with the Danapad can be managed using the Danalock App, which requires the use of the Danabridge V3 Hub. The Danalock App can be downloaded for free on Android and iOS devices. This is a great way to manage user codes and other various settings for the Danalock set up.
If the user doesn't have the Danabridge, they can still push codes to the Danapad using their security system. The Z-Wave Danalock associated with the Danapad will need to be paired with the user's alarm panel as a Z-Wave device. The codes can be pushed to the Danapad through either Alarm.com or Total Connect 2.0. Also some panels will allow users to push the codes to the keypad directly from the system.
The Danapad supports up to 20 different user codes. The codes can be between 4 and 10 digits in length. The device measures just 3.2 inches in diameter and 1.4 inches thick, making it very unobtrusive. A user will appreciate its sleek and modern designed for displaying it in an easily accessible location outside their home. It can be mounted using 2 screws or with adhesive tape. Its weather-resistant design keeps it working in essentially all environments.
For communication with the Danalock Door Lock, the Danapad uses local Bluetooth signals. All communication utilizes 256-bit AES encryption for maximum security. The device uses four AAA batteries for power. Please note that the Danapad will NOT work with the HomeKit Version of the Danalock.
