Honeywell 747PD

The Honeywell 747PD is a two-toned piezo dynamic indoor siren. The 747PD is lightweight, easy to install and has a low current draw, making it ideal for indoor siren installations. With the 747PD, you can connect multiple sirens to most hardwired alarm panels, such as Honeywell’s VISTA series without additional power supply hardware because it draws only about 1/3 the power of similar sirens. The 747PD is also compatible with the Honeywell LYNX family of wireless security systems.

The 747PD is easy to install, with a snap open white clam-shell case providing easy access to the circuitry. The terminal strip allows you to connect the siren to the bell circuit of your alarm panel with no splicing or soldering of wires. In addition, the 747PD is just half the weight of other sirens in its class. By selecting which terminals to land the wires, you can also select whether the 747PD will produce a steady siren or a warble sound.

Despite its low current draw of only 120mA at 12VDC, the 747PD does not miss a beat with a 105dB volume rating at 1 meter. Perfect for providing additional sounding options for interior spaces, the 747PD is UL approved for residential applications. You no longer need to limit your siren options because of the limited power output of most alarm systems. The 747PD piezo provides optimum siren volume and function with a fraction of the current draw.
