Honeywell LTEMXA-TC2

The Honeywell LTEMXA-TC2 is a bundled kit that includes a Honeywell LTEM-XA AT&T LTE Cat M1 Cellular Communicator and the latest PROM Chip upgrades for both the VISTA-15P and the VISTA-20P. This is great for Honeywell VISTA System users needing a new PROM Chip to support Total Connect 2.0.

In order for a VISTA-15P or VISTA-20P to be used with Total Connect 2.0, it must have a PROM Chip version of 9.12 or higher. If your 15P or 20P is running a lower PROM Chip, then buying this bundled kit is a great idea. This kit will save you money over buying a 15P PROM Chip or 20P PROM Chip and a new communicator all individually. But if your 15P or 20P already has a PROM Chip of 9.12 or higher, then you are likely better off just buying a standalone communicator, without upgrading the PROM.

Being able to use the Total Connect 2.0 platform is crucial for getting the very most out of your system. This is a super convenient service that you can access from almost anywhere by using a web browser or an app on your phone. Once you have logged into your TC2 account, you can arm and disarm your connected system, check its current status, control any Z-Wave devices you have integrated, view the live feed for security cameras you have set up, and more.

The Honeywell LTEM-XA Cellular Communicator included with this kit allows your Honeywell VISTA System to communicate with the Resideo AlarmNet Servers for monitoring service. The fact that this is a cellular communicator is very important, as it makes it highly unlikely that your alarm system will ever experience a disruption in service, provided that an adequate cellular connection is made. Not only that, but the LTEM-XA connects with the ultra-powerful AT&T LTE Cat M1 Network for optimal security and overall connectivity.

Since this is a cellular communicator, you will need an appropriate alarm monitoring plan in order to use it. Examples of compatible plans include the Gold and Platinum Level Plans from Alarm Grid. You can choose from our central station monitoring plans, where help can be automatically sent out during an alarm event, or a "Self-Monitoring" plan, where you must contact help yourself after being alerted to an alarm event via text and/or email.
