Description

The Honeywell SC105 is very similar to the Honeywell SC100, but the SC105 has a smaller coverage radius and is intended for use in noisy and harsh environments where the SC100 might be prone to false alarms. With the exception of the detection radius, the specifications between the two products are identical.

Whereas the SC100 is perfect for protecting such things as bank vaults, built-in ATMs, and strong rooms, the SC105 is designed to protect items that are free-standing such as gates, chests, filing cabinets, stand-alone ATMs, vending machines, and ticket machines. With a detection radius of 9.8' (2.9m) the SC105 can protect these valuable assets while maintaining a resistance to false alarms.

The SC105's small size allows it to be installed in very cramped areas, when necessary. In addition to its ability to detect potential attacks through vibration, it also has a built-in temperature detector that will provide an alarm if the ambient temperature exceeds 185°F (85°C). There are four (4) different sensitivity settings, selectable via dip switches.
