Honeywell WAVE2F

The Honeywell WAVE2F is a self-contained two-tone flush mounted siren. The WAVE2F is similar to the WAVE2 siren with the primary difference that it is designed to be recess mounted into a standard double gang electrical box.

The WAVE2F is contained in a small attractive white casing that is hinged to provide easy access to install the siren. The WAVE2F is self-contained meaning you can wire it directly to the siren or bell output of most security systems without the need for a siren-driver. With two sound outputs, the WAVE2F can be wired to produce a steady tone or a warble tone, both at a very loud volume of 106dB at 1 meter. The WAVE2F draws a maximum of 500mA when the siren is sounding, and is intended to be connected to a 12V wired security alarm panel. The three screw terminal block makes it easy to install the siren without soldering or splicing wires.

The easy installation characteristics of the WAVE2F combined with its ability to be flush mounted on the wall into a double gang electrical box make it ideal for applications where the siren needs to have a low profile. When flush mounted, the WAVE2F has a depth of only ¾” to seamlessly blend into any décor. Don’t sacrifice a siren for form with the WAVE2F, make sure everyone within earshot is alerted to any emergency.
