DSC HS2064NK 3-1 AT&T LTE Kit
NEO System W/ Keypad, AT&T LTE Dual-Path Communicator, PowerG Motion, 3 PowerG Contacts, LT-Cable
Description
The DSC NEO-2064-PK-ENC-AT Kit includes everything a new user needs for alarm monitoring. The kit features a DSC HS2064NK PowerSeries NEO with 64 zones. It also includes an HS2LCDRF9 N NEO Keypad, an AT&T LTE & IP Dual-Path Communicator, 3 PowerG Contacts, a PowerG Motion, and an LT-Cable.
The DSC HS2064NK PowerSeries NEO Panel offers support for up to 64 zones. It is one of the most robust and powerful hardwired systems available. Having support for 64 zones makes this panel suitable for larger homes and small businesses. You should keep in mind that there are only terminals for eight (8) hardwired zones built into the panel. Any additional hardwired zones will require the use of one or more DSC HSM2108 Expansion Modules. Each module will provide support for eight (8) additional wired zones.
But you are not restricted to hardwired sensors with this kit. We have included a DSC HS2LCDRF9 N NEO Keypad. The keypad has a built-in PowerG Wireless Transceiver for adding wireless PowerG Sensors. You can start enrolling PowerG Sensors once you have properly installed and addressed the keypad. The kit also comes with three (3) PowerG 9303 Contacts and one (1) PowerG 9914 Motion Sensor to get you started. The PowerG Sensors are highly impressive with their 2km maximum wireless range in open air and military-grade 128-bit AES encryption. Remember that both PowerG Sensors and hardwired sensors will count towards the 64 zone limit.
There is also an Alarm.com Dual-Path Communicator included with this kit. The DSC TL880LEAT N communicates across the AT&T LTE Network and through a hardwired ethernet connection. Using this communicator will allow the panel to connect with the Alarm.com servers for monitoring service. Once activated, you can use the Alarm.com Mobile App to remotely access the system. This is great for arming and disarming, checking current system status, controlling Z-Wave devices, viewing ADC Cameras, and more. The communicator has a built-in Z-Wave Plus controller so that you can start building a Z-Wave network. Remember that you need a monitoring plan with access to Alarm.com to activate this communicator.
Lastly, the kit includes an LT-Cable for connecting the panel with a compatible transformer (not included). You will still need to add a backup battery, which does not come included. This is necessary for keeping the system powered on when the electricity goes out and for stopping a reoccurring low-battery trouble condition. We usually recommend the UltraTech 1240 as a backup battery. If your system has a large current draw, then you might need the more powerful UltraTech 1270 instead. The typical backup battery will last for three (3) to five (5) years before needing to be replaced.
Note: No transformer is included with this system. We recommend purchasing the Honeywell 1361-GT Transformer separately, which will work fine with the DSC PowerSeries NEO Security System.
