Qolsys IQ4 Hub PowerG Verizon LTE 3-1 Kit

Included with this kit are the Qolsys IQ4 Hub PowerG panel with an integrated Verizon LTE cellular communicator and a built-in dual-band WIFI communicator. The kit also includes three (3) DSC PG9303 low-profile door/window transmitters and one (1) DSC PG9914 PIR Motion detector. This can be used as a nice starter kit for an apartment, small office, or home.

At the heart of this kit is the Qolsys IQ4 Hub with support for PowerG sensors. Every Qolsys IQ4 Hub has a built-in LTE cellular module and an integrated dual-band WIFI communicator. This allows the panel to take full advantage of all the great features offered through Alarm.com. This includes transporting alarm signals from the panel to an end-user, a central station, or both. It also includes remote features such as arming, disarming, checking system status, and controlling automation devices. When a system uses Alarm.com, it is required to have a cellular communicator registered. This means choosing a monitoring plan that includes cellular communication. For Alarm Grid customers, this is a Gold Plan (Self or Full) or higher, or Cellular Alarm Monitoring, which does not include the remote control features.

The IQ4 Hub is very similar to the IQ Panel 4 with some of the often unused hardware features removed. Both panels have the same Qualcomm SnapDragon 8-core processor. The IQ4 Hub does not offer the front-facing camera for disarm photos and has fewer speakers and microphones than its more expensive sibling. The Hub still offers Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) for optional Bluetooth disarming, and both panels offer the same Z-Wave Plus controller. The IQ4 Hub still has the ability to view Alarm.com video cameras on the panel's touchscreen, and offers Live Answer when using an Alarm.com video doorbell.

Also included in this kit are three (3) of the DSC PG9303 slim door or window sensors. These transmitters have a small form factor and blend into nearly any decor. With their small size comes an impressive transmitting range. When used with the Qolsys IQ4 Hub, most PowerG sensors have a range of around 4,000' (1,219m) in open air. The PG9303 sensors measure 2.6" x 1.2" x .4" (67mm x 31mm x 11mm). They can be mounted using included screws or double-sided foam tape. It uses one (1) 3V CR2450 Lithium battery, which is included.

Rounding out this kit is one (1) DSC PG9914 PIR motion sensor. This motion sensor has a coverage area of up to 39' (11.8m) with pet immunity for pets up to 85 lbs (38.5kg) when properly installed following the provided instructions. It has advanced processing capabilities, allowing it to distinguish the movement of an intruder from other sources, such as moving curtains. That said, be sure to follow all of the instructions for proper mounting to avoid false alarms. It uses one (1) 3V CR-123A Lithium battery, which comes included.
