Resideo LTEMPXV-TC2

The Resideo LTEMPXV-TC2 upgrade kit allows your Vista panel to support Total Connect 2.0 (TC2). It includes the Resideo LTEM-PXV, Vista 15P PROM chips, and Vista 20P PROM chips. The LTEM-PXV is a dual-path, Verizon LTE communicator. It uses an Ethernet port connection for internet. It can also use 2.4 GHz WIFI, but it requires a PROWIFI or PROWIFIZW (purchased separately).

The 20P-PROM is an upgrade chip designed for Honeywell VISTA-20P alarm control panels. If you need to upgrade your VISTA 20P so that it can be made to work with Total Connect 2.0, the 20P PROM is what you're looking for. You can determine whether your system needs the upgrade by looking at the already-installed PROM chip located in the center of the board. It should read out "WA20P-" followed by the revision number. For example, "WA20P-9.12" for a rev. 9.12 system. It must be 9.12 or higher. If your panel does not have a 9.12 or higher revision, you will need to replace the chip and get a Total Connect 2.0 compatible radio. Keep in mind that your 20P will need to be revision 2.0 or higher in order to be PROM chip upgradeable. If your panel does not meet this spec you will have to swap in a new system.

This kit also includes the 15P-PROM if you have a VISTA-15P you are upgrading instead of a VISTA-20P. Upgrading the VISTA 15P is very simple, though not always necessary. If you have an older VISTA 15P, and you want to add Total Connect 2.0 to it, you will want to take a look at the chip right in the middle of the panel. It needs to have version 9.12 or higher in order to be compatible with the Total Connect 2.0 service. It will read out WA15-9.12 if it is revision 9.12. Honeywell is constantly releasing newer systems so you could have a newer panel that is WA15P-10.23 for example.
