Telguard ACD-12
High Performance RF Cable for LTE Antenna
Description
The Telguard ACD-12 is a low loss, high performance cable in a twelve (12) foot length. It is suitable for use with any LTE cellular alarm communicator, and is provided by Telguard for their EXDL-0 and HGDL-0 antennas when used with the TG-1B, TG-4, and TG-7 Series communicators. It comes with installation hardware included.
Cellular communicators come with an antenna built in, but sometimes the area where the communicator must be mounted is not good for achieving optimal signal strength and clarity. In those cases, one of the Telguard external antennas may be the answer to the problem. Using the external antenna and the appropriate cable, the user can move the antenna to a better location, and in some cases, also achieve a bit of signal gain in the process. The ACD-12 will allow the user to move the antenna up to twelve (12) feet from the communicator's mounting location. Telguard also offers the ACD-35, ACD-50, and ACD-100 in 35', 50', and 100' precut lengths respectively.
In addition to being directly compatible with the above referenced communicators, the ACD-12 can also be used to extend the antenna for the Telguard TG-1 Express. The TG-1 Express has a different type of connector for the antenna. For those communicators, you must use a Telguard CTXL-12 to connect to the LTE communicator, then you can extend that wiring by using the ACD-12, ACD-35, ACD-50, or ACD-100.
