Telguard TG-1 Express
AT&T LTE Universal Cellular Communicator
Description
The TG-1 Express Cellular Alarm Communicator is compatible with almost any alarm panel with a phone dialer. The device sends all outbound alarm signals through the AT&T LTE cellular network. The TG-1 Express attaches to the tip and ring incoming phone line connections on a security panel.
The alarm panel must be programmed to dial out as though it was connected to a phone line. The TG-1 Express will take the signal and convert it to a wireless cellular signal. This is very useful because cellular connectivity is considerably more reliable and generally faster when compared with phone line service. By using the TG-1 Express, you will also be able to use the Telguard HoneControl Flex App to control your system remotely.
You will need the Install Code or Dealer Code for the system to program for the TG-1 Express. If you do not have either of these codes, then some panels may allow you to use a "backdoor method". Most Honeywell Panels allow this. But if you cannot backdoor into programming, then you won't be able to access programming without a code. If you cannot access programming, then you cannot use the TG-1 Express. Also note that no wiring comes with the TG-1 Express. We advise users to use the jumper cable from the RJ-31X (purchased separately).
The following alarm panels are supported by Alarm Grid with the Telguard HomeControl Flex App:
- DSC Power Series Neo + Addendum
- DSC Power Series (PC1616 / PC1832 / PC1864)
- Concord 4
- Concord Express
- NetworX NX6/NX8
- Honeywell Vista-15P/20P
- Napco Gemini P1632
