Telguard TG-1 Express

The TG-1 Express Cellular Alarm Communicator can be added to virtually any alarm control panel that has a phone dialer on it. It will send all alarm signals out across the Verizon LTE cellular network. The module connects to the tip and ring incoming phone line connections on your system.

The alarm panel will need to be programmed to dial out as if a phone line were connected. But when the panel dials out, the TG-1 will convert the wired phone line signal to a wireless cellular signal. Cellular communication is much more reliable and faster than phone line connectivity. The TG-1 also offers the ability to setup the HomeControl Flex App for remote access to your system on your smartphone or tablet.

The programming portion requires the installer or dealer code for the alarm system. Unless your system has a "backdoor" method like a Honeywell System, there is no way to get into programming without the installer code. There is no cabling included with the TG-1. We recommend using the jumper cable from the RJ-31X (purchased separately) to avoid having to customize these cable connections.
