Description
DSC users who need an affordable and effective door and window contact sensor can get exactly what they need with the VERSA-DSC. This is a wireless surface-mount sensor that fits in nicely with virtually any home decor. It is sleek and compact, making it nearly invisible once installed.
You can easily identify the VERSA-DSC by its orange circuit board on the inside. This helps you differentiate the sensor from the Honeywell 5800MINI (red board), the VERSA-2GIG (yellow board) and the VERSA-GE (blue board). The VERSA-DSC is virtually the same sensor as all of the aforementioned sensors. The only difference is that it communicates at the 433 MHz frequency that is used with legacy DSC systems.
The VERSA-DSC measures 2.22"L x 1.0"W x 0.3"D. There are small indications to determine which side of the sensor to align with the magnet. The sensor uses a CR2032 coin battery, and it has an average battery life of five (5) years.
