Winland TEMP-L-W
Waterproof Low Temperature Sensor
Description
The Winland TEMP-L-W is a waterproof low temperature sensor intended for use with the Winland EA200 EnviroAlert. The TEMP-L-W is a thermistor low temperature sensor that has a -58 to 158° F temperature range. Even though the TEMP-L-W can be used to trigger an alarm on a low or a high temperature event, it is called a low temperature sensor because of the unique ability to detect temperatures as low as -58° F.
The TEMP-L-W is waterproof so it ideal for monitoring the temperature of pools or hot tubs. Simply mount the TEMP-L-W temperature sensor on the side of the pool or hot tub so that the sensor is submerged. Connect the other end to the zone 2 output on the EA200 EnviroAlert. After programming the EA200 EnviroAlert, the TEMP-L-W will trigger an environmental alarm whenever the temperature limits are detected. The waterproof temperature sensor has a +/-2° F level of accuracy.
If you want to ignore temporary fluctuations in temperature, you can program the Winland EA200 EnviroAlert with an alarm time delay of up to 120 minutes. With a programmed alarm time delay, the TEMP-L-W will only cause an alarm if the low or high temperature limit is detected even after the programmed delay elapses.
