Chapter five: configuring your thermostat. Now that you've connected to your thermostat network, let's configure your heating and cooling equipment. The apple asks you a series of questions to determine your equipment configuration. Be sure to confirm or correct selections as you go. Now, select the temperatures you prefer your thermostat be set at when you're at home. Now, select what mode you prefer when you are away. If you select automatic, Honeywell will change your settings based on outside conditions and maximize your savings. If you select manual, you will set your away temperatures for your thermostat. Here's a summary of the configuration selections you have chosen. Review the selection and if everything looks correct, click next to complete the configuration.
