Qolsys IQ Panel 4: Change Panel Volume

hey DIY Dylan here with alarm grid uh today we're going to do another fairly simple video This is how to adjust the volume settings on our IQ panel 4 uh now there is just a general volume option but I'm also going to show the more advanced settings option for the volume that's going to let you adjust individual items for their volume uh so we'll show all that we'll adjust the volume and that's going to be pretty much it it's going to be a very simple video today okay so we have the IQ panel 4 here um and if you saw another video of ours about how to adjust the brightness and it's uh going to be as simple as that pretty much so for the general volume settings we go to the top bar here and that's it we have our volume settings right at the top I have this all the way down because we shoot a lot of these videos and um I want the panel to be quiet some times but if you want it to make noise simply take the slider adjust it and then we have volume so you can make very low make it high you can make it medium and anywhere in between all right so that's the general option there that we just have the slider uh but you can also go into settings ADV enter user code advance settings and that's why we keep the volume down enter our code there 1111 which is the default installer code and then right here we have the sound option and then volume uh so this is where you can adjust individual settings for the volume uh so voices that's what just yelled at us so I'm going to turn that down a bit volume and with this it'll make a noise voice volume to show you volume the changes so we turn that down volume we have beeps and Chimes and media volume and then doorbell camera chime volume so this one uh does require an extra kind of Step so you obviously you can just adjust it but for this to actually work you need to have uh well a doorbell camera connected with your alarm.com account you need to have the doorbell notifications to the panel enabled um and then uh you'll go into your alarm.com account you'll go to the video device uh info option which is in video settings and then you can uh set up send motion notifications or send button push notifications to the panel and when those are enabled that's where this comes into play so if someone Rings your doorbell it's going to send a notification to the panel itself and then this slider depends on uh determines how loud uh that shime is going to be from the doorbell itself uh so the media volume this is um the panel has kind of tutorial videos already installed and you can download more to the panel so that's what the media volume is adjusting the the volume of those videos beeps and Chimes that's pretty self-explanatory that's the beeps of when you're pressing options and then the chime uh so say if your system is disarmed and someone opens the door you're going to get a low tone and then voice kind of follow follows that as well um if your system is disarmed and you have the voice feature enabled for his own it's going to say front door open back door open etc etc and that is how you uh find the individual options there and then if you're adjusting those volume settings you're noticing that hey I'm still not getting voice you just want to scroll down to the voice settings here make sure these are enabled okay so that is how you adjust the volume on the IQ panel 4 uh we reviewed just the general volume feature and then we went into the advanced settings option uh so we can show those individual list items that you can adjust as well um if you had any questions for us feel free to reach out our support phone number is 888 81877 28 we have an email address which is support@alarmgrid.com uh and if you come to our website which is www . alarm grid.com uh we have a live chat feature on there as well so feel free to use any of those to contact us if you had any questions if you like this video please like the video hit the Subscribe button and hit the Bell icon to be notified about any future videos we release I hope you enjoyed watching again my name is Dylan from alarm grid and thank you for watching
