The IQ Panel 2 Plus is an upgrade over the original IQ Panel 2. Specifically, the IQ Panel 2 Plus includes a built-in PowerG receiver, which allows the system to support PowerG Sensors. When paired with an IQ Panel 2 Plus, a PowerG Sensor can be used from up to 2,000 feet away in an open air environment.
Each IQ Panel 2 Plus System included with these kits is also backwards compatible with legacy 319.5 MHz sensors. This includes wireless sensors manufactured by Interlogix/GE and Qolsys. Please note that the 345 MHz IQ Panel 2 Plus and the 433 MHz IQ Panel 2 Plus are not available as part of system kits. If you want either of these versions, you will need to purchase every component individually.
Another great feature of the IQ Panel 2 Plus is the ability to use it with Alarm.com. This is an interactive service platform that allows you to control your system remotely. You can conveniently access Alarm.com through a mobile app on your Android or iOS device.
