Nortek Security & Control is pleased to announce the
availability of the new 345MHz Wireless Indoor Repeater.
The 2GIG 345MHz Repeater will repeat 2GIG and Honeywell
sensor signals to 2GIG panels. By adding a Repeater
between the panel and sensor the system can get better
range and more reliable signals in difficult RF environments.
The Repeater is a plug and play device that will immediately
start repeating signals when powered on. The rechargeable
battery provides backup power in case of AC power loss.

Orders for the new 2GIG Repeater will be accepted starting on October 10,
2016 and orders will start to be fulfilled November 21. Dealers should check
with distributors for availability.
Warranty
The new 2GIG Repeater will ship with a standard 2 year limited warranty.

Q. What signals does the 2GIG Repeater repeat?
A. The 2GIG Repeater will repeat 2GIG and Honeywell signals
Q. Does the 2GIG Repeater use a zone in the system?
A. The Repeater can be plugged in and will start repeating signals without
any programming. If you want to supervise Low Battery, Tamper, and AC
Power Loss then it needs to be programmed in as a zone.
Q. Can I put more than one Repeater on a system?

A. Yes you can put more than one Repeater on a system. The Repeater
adds a repeat indicator to the signal to eliminate a “repeated signal storm”
Q. Does the Repeater work on GC2 and GC3?
A. The Repeater will work on GC2 with FW v1.14 and newer. For GC3 it can
be used immediately but will not be able to be supervised until FW v3.1.
