Dear Valued Customers:

In order to reduce the potential of a communication
or reconnection failure, Resideo recommends the
installation have at least 2 signal quality bars [L
TE Sig Qual.] or higher. The signal quality can be
viewed on AlarmNet 360 (AN360)
https://services.alarmnet.com/AlarmNet360/


The below image provides an example of the AN360 LT
E Sig Qual. Display.



In the event an installation will not maintain a co
nstant LTE Signal Quality of 2 bars or higher, Resi
deo
recommends the below options:
•
Relocate the communicator to a different location
that offers better coverage. (The issue could
be due to the building/structure or other items cau
sing interference).
•
Install a CELL-ANTHB or CELL-ANTSMA external indoo
r antenna to increase signal strength
and achieve constant 2 bars. If additional boost is
required, a CELL-ANT3DB external outdoor
antenna can be installed.
Note: An ADPT-LTEMP adapter for LTEM-P/PI radios,
or the ADPT-LTEMPX for the LTEM-
PX Series communicators (available separately) will
be required if installing an external
antenna.
•
Install an alternative AT&T or Verizon network com
municator. (Depending on regions and
coverage areas, one network may offer better perfor
mance than the other).
