Do Honeywell 5800 sensors work with other systems?

Honeywell wireless alarm sensors are only compatible with Honeywell alarm control panels. When purchasing a wireless security sensor, you should match the brand of the security system you are purchasing it for. On the other hand, most hardwired sensors are compatible with any brand of alarm panel. All of the panels that are currently available in the Honeywell security catalog are compatible with the 5800 series of wireless accessories, as long as your panel is equipped with a 5800 series wireless receiver.
