Can I Use A L5210 And A L7000 Together?
No, both the Lynx Touch L5210 and L7000 are self contained wireless security panels which will not speak to each other.
The Honeywell 5828 and 5828V are the compatible keypads to both the Lynx Touch L5210 and L7000. There is no limit to the number of keypads the L5210 and L7000 support but do need to be installed within 50 feet of the control panel for proper RF transmitting.
Both the 5828 and the 5828V are fixed English keypads and will beep an audible exit warning. The 5828V has “voice” so in addition to the beeping exit warning the 5828V will sound “Disarm, Armed - Disarmed Ready To Arm, Exit Now, etc.
Both the 5828 and 5828V run on 3, 1.5 volt AA batteries or can be powered by AC Transformer (Honeywell K0991). Running on batteries only, both the 5828 and the 5828V keypads will go to “sleep” to save battery life and users need to press any button to “wake” the keypad up before it will beep and provide any announcement. Paring the keypad with the transformer provides constant power. It’s a good idea to also install the batteries as a backup in case power is lost for any reason.
The Honeywell Lynx Touch L5210 has a 4 ½ inch screen and supports up to a total of 80 zones ( 79 wireless zones and 1 hardwired zone) plus up to 32 user codes.
The Honeywell Lynx Touch L7000 has a 7 inch screen and supports up to a total of 104 zones ( 103 wireless zones and 1 hardwired zone) plus up to 48 user codes.
Both the L5210 and L7000 are compatible with Honeywell IP cameras. Users can view 1 camera directly on the touchscreen of the L5210 and up to 4 cameras on the touchscreen of the L7000.
