Yes, the 2GIG GC3 control panel can be armed or disarmed remotely by any smartphone, computer or iOS device if the panel is paired with a cellular communicator and has an Alarm.com account.

With an Alarm.com account users can control the 2GIG GC3 alarm system, home automation and video surveillance from any computer, smart phone or iOS device. Users will also receive notifications on any alarm signal or event via email and or text message, if enabled.

The 2GIG GC3 has a compatible image sensor, the 2GIG Image 1. The 2GIG Image 1 is a motion detector that takes a still snapshot when motion is detected and can send the picture via email and or text message. The 2GIG Image 1 is a wireless image sensor so it can be placed anywhere inside, even in a position so snapshots can be taken of anyone who disarms the system.

The 2GIG GC3 control panel has a built in Z-Wave module which supports up to 232 Z-Wave and Z-Wave Plus devices. Remotely control thermostats, light switches and door locks.

Users can also adjust a thermostat and turn schedules on or off, check the status of doors and garage doors directly from a smartphone.

Alarm.com provides Geo Fencing which works by using the users smartphone location. Users set up a circular distance surrounding the home or business and set up actions / rules to be taken once the circle is entered or exited.
