Can The 2Gig GoControl Support Z-Wave Receptacles?
Yes, the 2Gig GoControl alarm panel, home management system has a built in Z-Wave radio and has been designed to operate with Z-Wave certified light and appliance (on/off) switches, multi-level (dimmer) switches, thermostats, door locks, remote sirens, and portable controllers available from a variety of equipment manufacturers.
The 2Gig panel offers optional "enhanced services" which allows users to remotely control your Z-Wave devices from any computer or smart phone, providing users with home automation control from anywhere in the world.
The 2Gig GoControl panel supports up to 232 Z-Wave devices in any combination, and no device number restrictions.
Z-Wave network signals travel between the control panel and Z-Wave devices. The networks signals also travel directly between Z-Wave devices resulting in each Z-Wave device acting as a repeater. The Z-Wave network will automatically adjust the signal path depending on signal conditions.
In addition to controlling one Z-Wave device, users can control multiple devices by creating a Scene.
Scenes enable a single button to send different commands to different devices making several different things happen at the same time.
Rules allow for the creation of triggers that will perform certain actions when conditions are met. Example; when a motion detector is tripped a light will come on.
Please refer to the 2Gig GoControl Z-Wave user guide for complete instructions on how to program Scenes and Rules.
Users can be notified via email and or text message on any alarm signal or event.
