Does the iGSMV have total connect 2.0 capability?

The iGSMV is an AlarmNet dual path alarm communicator for the VISTA series security systems. You can use the iGSMV for alarm monitoring services and Total Connect interactive service. It depends on the version of your alarm control panel to determine if you can use Total Connect or Total Connect 2.0. If you have an older system that doesn’t support Total Connect 2.0, the iGSMV-TC2 comes with an upgrade chip that would allow your system to be Total Connect 2.0 compatible.

The iGSMV and all its various iterations, such as the TC2 version, were discontinued in early 2013. Alarm Grid is awaiting Honeywell’s release of the iGSMV dual path communicator’s replacement.
