Before pairing any Z-Wave device, it is recommended that you exclude it from the network. Step 1 & 2 focus on excluding the lock from the network, while Steps 3 & 4 focus on including the lock. Complete the following steps to add a Schlage Z-Wave Lock to a Tuxedo Touch Keypad:

1. Access Tuxedo exclusion mode. Start from the main screen of the Tuxedo Touch. Choose Automation, then click the Z-Wave Setup button. The Z-Wave Setup button can be identified by the wrench, screwdriver, and Z-Wave Logo. The button is found at the bottom of the screen, immediately to the left of the button that features a wall switch.

You are now in the Z-Wave Setup Menu. Click the button labeled "Remove Device". The Tuxedo Touch will enter its Z-Wave exclusion mode.

2. Exclude the lock. Put the Schlage Lock into its own inclusion/exclusion mode by entering its programming code, followed by the [0] button.
