How Do I Change Contrast And Brightness On a L7000?
Honeywell’s Lynx Touch L7000 has a full 7” color touch screen with graphic icons. The Lynx Touch L7000 supports up to 30 (thirty) cameras and viewing of up to 4 (four) cameras that can be displayed individually or in a quad configuration directly on the touchscreen. Depending on the environment and location of the panel the contrast and brightness might need to be adjusted. The Lynx Touch L7000 allows the user to adjust the contrast and brightness on the touchscreen. Contrast is the difference in brightness between objects where brightness is the lightness or darkness of the picture.
To adjust the contrast or brightness, the Lynx Touch L7000 must be in the disarmed mode. Press the “Security” icon on the home screen. Press “More”. Press “Settings”. The system will display the setting screen, showing 3 (three) horizontal columns with a slider bar for each. Adjust the brightness by sliding the button left for darker and right for lighter. Adjust the contrast by sliding the button left for darker contrast and right for lighter contrast. Press “Save” to save the new settings. Press the “Return” icon to return to the home screen.
Test viewing camera video to ensure the proper contrast and brightness.
