How Do I Change the Date or Time on an Interlogix Simon XTi or XTi-5?

You can change the date or time on an Interlogix Simon XTi or XTi-5 from the main settings menu of the system. There is an option called "Set Date/Time" that will allow you to adjust the system's date and time. You must know the system's Master Code in order to adjust the date and time.

Complete the following steps to change the date or time on an Interlogix Simon XTi or XTi-5 Alarm System:

1. Access "Set Date/Time". Start from the main screen of the Simon XTi or XTi-5 System. Click on the gear icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen. Use the down arrow to scroll down to "Set Date/Time". Click the "Enter" button next to this option. Then enter in the system's Master Code. By default, this code is set to 1234. Once you have entered in the code, press the "OK" button. You will then enter into the menu to adjust the date and time.

2. Set the time. The upper set of three white boxes is used for setting the time. Click on the upper left box to set the hour. The hour can be set from 1 to 12. Press the "Save" button once you have set the hour. Click on the upper middle box to set the minute. The minute can be set from 00 to 59. Press the "Save" button once you have set the minute. Click on the upper right box to toggle between AM and PM.

3. Set the date. The lower set of three white boxes is used for setting the date. Click on the lower left box to set the month. The month can be set from 1 to 12. Press the "Save" button once you have set the month. Click on the the lower middle box to set the day. Make sure to choose a 2-digit day that is appropriate for that month. Press the "Save" button once you have set the day. Click on the lower right box to set the year. Enter in the current 4-digit year. Press the "Save" button once you have set the year.

4. Exit programming. Click the "Close" button in the upper right corner of the screen to exit settings and return to the home screen. The system will now be set to the time and date that was configured.
