How Do I Clear The Memory For The Qolsys IQ Hardwire 16-F?
You can clear the memory for the Qolsys IQ Hardwire 16-F by powering down the device and holding down the Memory Reset button while power is reapplied to the module. The button must be held for three (3) full seconds after powering. Rapidly blinking LED lights indicate a successful reset.
Clearing the memory for the Qolsys IQ Hardwire 16-F is the same as factory defaulting the device. You will generally want to do this if you are setting the device up for the first time or if you are switching resistor modes for the device. Clearing the memory may also be performed as a final troubleshooting step if the module is not working properly. After clearing the memory, you will need to re-enroll the Qolsys IQ Hardwire 16-F with the panel. You will also need to delete any existing zones used by the module on the panel before you re-enroll the sensors.

While still holding the button, reapply power to the module by reconnecting its transformer. You may need to have a second person help you do this. Continue to hold the button while power is being reapplied. Keep the button held down until the Processor, RF Xmit, and EOL CAL LED lights begin blinking rapidly. This will confirm that the memory has been cleared. You can also reconnect the backup battery at this time.
3. Re-enroll the module. Prior to reaching this step, any zones that were learned into the panel from the Qolsys Hardwire 16-F should have been deleted from panel programming. After performing a memory reset, you will need to re-enroll the Qolsys IQ Hardwire 16-F tamper input with the panel. You will also need to re-enroll any sensors used with the Qolsys Hardwire 16-F.
