How Do I Install A GSMVLP5-4G Into A Honeywell L7000?

The GSMVLP5-4G is a cell communicator compatible with the Lynx Touch L7000. The GSMVLP5-4G enables the Lynx Touch L7000 to communicate with AlarmNet servers by sending alarm signals from the control panel. Once received, AlarmNet servers forwards the signals to a user’s monitoring station.

To install a GSMVLP5-4G into a Lynx Touch L7000, start by separating the front case from the back on the Lynx Touch L7000, using a flat head screwdriver pressing down on the two locking tabs. Install the GSMVLP5-4G in the left side of the front case, making sure the connector board is seated securely on the receptacle of the control panel. Secure the GSMVLP5-4G with the three screws provided. Reconnect the front to the back case. The GSMVLP5-4G must be registered and activated by a monitoring company. The MAC ID and CRC numbers need to be provided to the monitoring company to enable activation. Once activated, the Lynx Touch L7000 will start to communicate to AlarmNet servers.
