How do I install a 7847i to a VISTA-128BPT system?

The Honeywell VISTA-128BPT is compatible with the AlarmNet alarm monitoring communicators so that you can upgrade your system with internet or cellular based alarm communications. An AlarmNet internet alarm communicator like the 7847i allows you to have your system monitored using your home's internet service. The 7847i also supports Honeywell's interactive Total Connect alarm monitoring service.

To take advantage of all of the great benefits of internet alarm monitoring, simply connect a 7847i to your VISTA-128BPT. The internet device connects to the panel just like an alarm keypad. Use a four conductor wire to connect terminals three through six on the 7847i to terminals six through nine on the alarm control panel. Terminal 3 on the 7847i needs to be connected to terminal 6 on the VISTA-128BPT. Terminal 4 on the 7847i needs to be connected to terminal 7 on the control panel. Terminal 5 on the communicator connects to terminal 9 on the VISTA board and terminal 6 on the communicator connects to terminal 8 on the control panel. Make sure to make these connections with your VISTA-128BPT powered down. Before powering the system back up, connect an Ethernet cable from your router to the 7847i and your installation is complete.
